Welcome to Boulder Pointe Equestrian & Event Center!

How do I start?

Which Path Matches you the best?

  • Little to no experience
  • Ready to get back in the saddle after a long absence
  • Some experience (able to steer, stop and follow safety rules)
  • Confident in ability to tack/untack a horse
  • Understand basic terminology

New Student Process

Once you select your path, you will be on your way to an appropriate weekly lesson spot where you can succeed and progress.

Following successful completion of the new rider program or an evaluation lesson, your instructor will recommend options for continuing, such as private lessons to focus on a few skills, or to an appropriate group or semi-private lesson. If a student needs additional help at the basics, they may suggest enrolling in another new rider's session before going into the regular lesson program.

If you aren't sure if you have enough experience to go into a semi-private or group lesson,  we recommend the new rider class, which provides a strong foundation for anyone from the newest rider to someone looking to dust off old skills and get back into the saddle.
