New Rider Group Session Starting Soon!
Starting something new can be a stressful time, no matter how much you want to do it. Add in a 1,200 pound animal and it can be downright intimidating. That's why we have the New Rider's Program here at Boulder Pointe. It is a 9-week course for beginning riders that offers individualized attention in a small group setting. The course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of horse care, safety and riding to prepare you to move on to semi-private or group lessons. It’s a fun and structured way to introduce you to riding, as well as give you a solid foundation on which to build.
Each class will be limited to just 4 riders. Besides the head instructor, there will be an instructor in training. These instructors are more advanced students and they will guide and support you and your rider throughout the 9 weeks and beyond. We have a uniquely collaborative and supportive community here at Boulder Pointe, and the students encourage one another in their riding. I think you’ll find your rider will not only learn about horses in this positive atmosphere, but will gain confidence in all aspects of their lives.
Here is a breakdown of the lesson plan:
This program is $600 (plus $24 in credit card fees for a total of $624). Because it’s so important for students to attend each session, as the skills they learn one week will be used in each of the following weeks, there will be no makeup lessons. A missed lesson will be forfeited. However, that does not mean you or your rider will not catch up in the lessons thereafter. You will continue learning at your own pace and we have every confidence it will not affect your overall ability to test out of the program and into semi-private or group lessons.
We hope you are as excited about this new program as we are. We think it will be a great benefit to you and your rider. Please reach out through email if you have any questions.
