MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
STEP 1: ORIENTATION |
|
Orientation is hosted once each quarter on a weekend day 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The next orientation is TBD. Our volunteer program takes place after orientation 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM (in 2-hour increments). Please email [email protected] with any questions. Fill out the Volunteer Form to get started. Sign up for orientation and then a volunteer session with the buttons below. You must be a current lesson student in good standing to participate in the volunteer program.
STEP 2: VOLUNTEER |
|
The next volunteer session is TBD. We meet in the craft room and then begin the daily tasks together. Any outside volunteering hours are scheduled on a case-by-case basis. Students 12 years or older are eligible to volunteer at camps. Volunteers under 16 must volunteer with a parent or guardian. We help prepare our volunteers to work as counselors and staff in the future. Sign up with the button above.
Upcoming date(s): TBD
CARING FOR RESCUE HORSES |
|
We understand the desire to work directly with the horses, however our rescues often are in the process of rehabilitation and learning how to trust. Working with this type of horse takes time and experience. Boulder Pointe staff will teach dedicated volunteers how to work with rescues as long as it is a safe and positive environment for everyone.
*Volunteering is the best first step to becoming staff!*
