Camp Refund Policies**
30 or more days notice - 100% minus processing fees
25-29 days notice - 75% refund
15-24 days notice - 50% refund
Less than 15 days notice, no refund unless for a documented medical reason, homesickness would not apply. If there is a documented medical reason there will be a 100% refund minus processing fees.
**Refund policies only applies to camps purchased at full price unless noted.
Use of Hand Stamps or Wristbands
For the purpose of organizing and keeping track of campers, Boulder Pointe will mark the hands of campers with a colored stamp or provide a wristband. The stamp/wristband color will indicate which group they will be a part of during the day and aid counselors in organizing activities.
Late Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy
Parents and guardians must contact Boulder Pointe if they will be late to pick up their camper. There will be a 15 minute grace period after the stated camp start and end time, after which a fee of $1/minute late will be applied.
Parent Participation Policy
Weather Policy
We will be outside unless deemed necessary to be inside. We will be inside if it is actively raining, thundering or lightening, or if the heat index is 90 degrees or above.
Camp Dismissal Policy
We want to make sure everyone at camp has a safe and positive experience. We reserve the right to dismiss any camper who violates our policy and will ask the parent to pick up their camper. A refund will not be issued in the event of a dismissal. The following behaviors are grounds for dismissal:
Medication Administration Policy (For prescription & non-prescription medication to be administered at camp)
Boulder Pointe has senior staff authorized to administer certain prescription and nonprescription (over-the-counter) medications to participants when proper documentation is on file.
If your child brings to camp an Epi-Pen, inhaler, other prescribed oral or topical medication, or a non-prescribed (over-the-counter) oral or topical medication that may need to be administered during the program, then a Medication Authorization form signed by a parent/guardian and a physician must be on file.

- No parents are allowed to stay and watch the camp or come back to the barn early before designated pick-up time.
- For the My Little Horse Camps, one (1) parent is allowed to be with the child attending. No other adults or children are allowed.

- Damage to any Boulder Pointe property
- Endangering themselves or those around them, including behaviors of aggression towards another person(s), behaviors that spook horses (running, screaming, throwing objects, etc.)
- Disrespect/bullying towards other campers and staff both verbally and physically, including name-calling and hurtful language.

- The medication to be administered during camp must be clearly labeled and in its original container.
- A Medication Authorization form must be completed for each medication. The form shall include:
- Child’s name, address and birth date
- Drug name
- Prescribed dose
- Method of administration
- Time of administration
- Side Effects
- Prescriber’s name and address
Staff Responsibilities
- All medications shall be kept in a locked box in a staff room inaccessible to children.
- Keys to the locked box shall be accessible only to personnel authorized to administer medication.
- Medication shall be administered only in accordance with the written order of the authorized prescriber.
- The first dose of any medication shall not be administered except in an emergency.
- Any unused portion of the medication shall be returned to the parent at the end of the program.
- Parents will be notified when/if a child has been administered any medication.
